The Zen meditation course is designed for people of all experience levels, both beginners and veterans. Everyone can experience the benefits of meditation. This course is divided into four workshops covering the main aspects of this meditation, also known as zazen.
Zen Meditation course Practice Routine
In this course, we learn to establish a zazen routine for daily life that suits us. This is crucial for maintaining continuity and turning it into a path of self-discovery. We also learn how to overcome obstacles that arise on the Zen path.
We improve our body posture, which is very beneficial for the spine, refine our attention to breathing, and finally adopt the correct mental attitude, which we call a Zen mind. These are, ultimately, the three basic pillars of good zazen.
Keys to Better Meditation
During the workshops, you will learn meditative practices to achieve a state of calm and inner peace. You will be taught the key elements of the meditation posture in class and practice exercises to improve concentration and mindfulness. Additionally, practical tips will be offered to integrate zazen into daily life and maintain a consistent and healthy meditation practice that reduces stress and anxiety.
Practicing Meditation in Daily Life
In summary, this Zen meditation course provides us with the necessary tools to cultivate a solid and effective meditation practice. Through the workshops, we learn the fundamentals of Zen, improve our posture, work on our breathing, and enhance mindfulness. Join us and discover the benefits of meditation!

The meditation course Workshops:
1st Workshop: Zen Meditation
We cover the fundamentals of zazen. How to establish a personal routine for daily life. Why meditate in a group? In this class, we will discuss the benefits of meditation. We will also talk about how long and how often it is recommended to practice. Finally, we’ll explore whether it is necessary to stop thoughts or let them flow. We will address the most relevant issues and challenges of meditation, as well as the factors that help free the mind.
2nd Workshop: Meditation and Body Posture
In this zazen meditation course workshop, we study and improve the Zen meditation posture, ensuring it suits our physical condition. We also answer questions that arise during the workshop. We demonstrate exercises to facilitate posture, which is very beneficial for the spine. We strive to provide personalized attention to each participant’s situation. This way, we understand the importance of body posture and how to maintain a comfortable yet alert position during practice.
3rd Workshop: Zen Breathing
In this session of the meditation course, we focus on the importance of breathing during zazen. Zen breathing is deep breathing centered on the hara, the body’s energy center. We emphasize mindful breathing and how to use it to calm the mind and body. We will learn different breathing techniques that will help us enter a state of deep relaxation. We explore the connection between deep breathing and the calmness of the body and mind. Guided exercises help us pay attention to breathing and its connection to sensations, thoughts, and emotions, applicable also in daily life.
4th Workshop: The Zen Mind
In this final Zen meditation course class, we delve into the states of the mind. We learn to focus our mind on a single point and maintain concentration throughout the session. We will also discuss the benefits of concentration in meditation and how it can help us achieve a state of calm and mental clarity.
We study the three basic concepts for zazen practice:
Mushotoku: An attitude without the desire to obtain.
Hishiryo: Consciousness beyond thought and non-thought.
Hannya: Intuitive wisdom that sees reality as it is.
Additionally, in this meditation course class, we will review the concepts learned and discuss how to continue cultivating a zazen practice in daily life. We will offer advice on overcoming common problems that may arise during meditation and help you maintain a consistent practice in your everyday life.
