Meditation in Barcelona
In-person and Online
Zen Meditation in Barcelona
In-person Zen meditation in barcelona is undoubtedly the best option, as long as personal circumstances allow it, of course. Thanks to in-person meditation, there is daily direct contact with the teachers and the group. Additionally, there are also ritual elements that help bring the conditioning of our ego to the surface, allowing us to become aware of it. Especially for beginners, it is highly recommended to spend a few months with the in-person group in order to properly learn this practice.
Online Zen Meditation
Online Zen Meditation is a meditation practice that we can do from home, connected online with the Zen meditation taking place in the dojo’s meditation hall in Barcelona. This way, we will have a sense of telepresence, as if we were there. In online meditation, we use Zoom, a video conferencing application that we can download on our mobile phone or computer.
Why do zen meditation barcelona within a group
Meditation can also be practiced alone, but it comes with more challenges. The first challenge is motivation: when we practice alone, it may seem easy at first, but over time, it becomes increasingly difficult to find the moment to sit down and meditate, and once we do, it feels long and challenging to finish. Obviously, this doesn’t happen in group meditation. Thanks to empathy, we feel the energy and concentration of others, their presence, and this gives us a motivation that doesn’t come from our own will.

We feel supported in zen meditation barcelona
With this connection, by being accompanied by other connected practitioners, we undoubtedly feel more involved in the meditation. For example, we can hear the sounds of the meditation hall and the teachings, and the teacher can monitor our practice. It is, therefore, ideal for meditators who live far from the dojo or who, due to circumstances, cannot attend as often as they would like. As soon as doubts arise, we can schedule an interview with the teacher via Zoom to delve deeper into all aspects of Zen practice. Zoom Instructions

Group Zen meditation, guided by a Zen master, allows us to delve deeply and overcome the obstacles we will encounter. Zen master Lluís Nansen will guide us, personally supervising our practice, and we can speak with him whenever we need to.
