On Sunday, February 2, 2025, the Zazen (Zen Meditation) course begins. This is undoubtedly an opportunity to explore and deepen your practice of this ancient spiritual tradition. In this sense, Zazen (Zen meditation) opens the path to seeing inner reality in the present moment, allowing us to rediscover peace and calm our minds. With consistent practice, Zazen can become the central axis of our lives, enabling us to live fully without being swept away like a leaf in the wind by the ups and downs of fate. We are always able to return to the center of the present moment, to the here and now, which we call the Way of Zen.
Objectives of the Zazen (Zen Meditation) Course
First, in the Introduction to Zen Meditation, we will learn the foundations and roots of this ancient practice. Next, in the Meditation Techniques, we will explore various Zen meditation techniques, including zazen (seated meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and more. In short, we will experience how Zen meditation can help calm the mind and lead us to deeper mental clarity as part of the zazen course. We will also understand how Zen meditation fosters mindfulness and presence in the present moment. Additionally, we will explore how to integrate Zen meditation into our daily lives for improved well-being and balance. Finally, group practice guided by a master will allow us to share our experiences and questions.
Course Methodology:
Classes and practices in the Zazen course are conducted in a group setting, offering a safe and welcoming space for practice and learning.
