The Zen Mindfulness course I consists of seven Saturday morning seminars focusing on the development of mindfulness practice in everyday life. This Mindfulness course is based on the Zen tradition. It helps us become more aware of our emotions, and manage them more effectively. Zen Mindfulness goes beyond achieving reduction of stress and symptomatic relief of negative emotions. From a deep understanding of the working of the ego, Zen Mindfulness helps us to free our selves from the root of our suffering, ignorance, greed and hatred, and to enjoy a fuller and happier life. During the course we study tools and specific guidelines, derived from Buddhist teaching, that aid us in realising full consciousness in everyday life.
