Why a Zen Mindfulness Compassion Course?

The Zen Mindfulness Compassion course arises from the urgent need to apply remedies to ease existential anxiety. While Zen practitioners know that the practice of zazen is an inexhaustible source that quenches this thirst, painful situations in daily life often make it necessary to accelerate a healing process through compassion.

Healing with Compassion

The foundations of this Zen Mindfulness Compassion course are based on training from the Buddhist Lojong tradition, adapted by Lluís Nansen to fit our modern society, with a focus rooted in the Zen Buddhist school.

Hurting Is What Hurts Us

In the Zen Mindfulness course, we learn to use regret, gratitude, and the spirit of awakening as tools for healing. When we understand that hating harms us more than the one we hate, that hoarding harms us more than the one we take from, and ultimately, that hurting others is what hurts us, compassion becomes our path to liberation.

Zen Mindfulness course

In this course, we will first practice mindfulness, followed by compassion training based on the Buddhist tradition. Undoubtedly, this practice, carried out with wisdom, has great healing power for both body and mind. It helps us release the past, transform our relationships with others, and ultimately improve our quality of life and that of those around us.
