Podcast of the First Kusen of the Summer Camp in Lluçà 2025 – “Doing Nothing.” Comments on Punyamitra’s Teaching

From August 2 to 10, 2025, we held the August retreat, the ango or summer camp — an intense Zen practice with great transformative power. This was the first kusen of the retreat and an essential part of creating such a unique Zen podcast.

The audio is a live recording, edited to remove the preliminary instructions on the zazen posture and some silences in order to shorten the listening time. Catalan original version.

Podcast of the New Year’s Eve Ceremony of the 108 Bells

On December 30, 2024, we celebrated the New Year’s ceremony of the 108 bells. This podcast features the kusen—the oral teaching during meditation—given by Master Nansen. Catalan original version, forming an integral part of our Zen podcast series.

Podcast of the December 5–8, 2024 Retreat in Lluçà

From December 5 to 8, 2024, we held a Zen meditation retreat in Lluçà. The late autumn forests and atmosphere accompanied us in a very intense retreat, where we devoted ourselves to practicing zazen and sharing the community’s tasks. These unique moments contribute significantly to our Zen podcast collection. Thanks to all the work teams and to everyone who participated.

Kusen: Oral Teaching during Meditation

This was the oral teaching from the first morning zazen of Saturday, during the December retreat in Lluçà. Very often, these teachings refer to things that happened during the retreat, or that came up in the mondo dialogues, or in interviews with the master. When listening, we should keep in mind that it is a live, unedited recording, with some pauses in between. These teachings make the zen podcast richly credible. Catalan original version.

Mondo: Dialogue of Question and Answer between Master and Disciple

A question about artistic passion and Zen, from the Mondo on Friday, December 6, in the afternoon. A live, unedited recording of a student’s spontaneous question and Master Nansen’s immediate response. It truly exemplifies a real Zen podcast element. Catalan original version.
