Zen master Lluís Nansen Salas was recently interviewed on the program Misteris with Sebastià d’Arbó [ arbo sebastia ], broadcast on Televisió d’Esplugues de Llobregat (etv.cat). In this 50-minute conversation, journalist and anthropologist Sebastià d’Arbó offered a warm and relaxed space for Nansen to share his experience and vision on the practice of Zen.

During the interview, Nansen spoke about the activities carried out at the Zen Kannon Center in Barcelona, located on Gran Via. He explained what the practice of zazen (sitting meditation) consists of and how it can contribute to both personal and collective well-being. He also addressed topics such as the importance of silence, presence, and compassion in daily life, as previously highlighted by Sebastià d’Arbó.

His oral teachings during retreats are collected in the series Zen Teachings in Lluçà: Teachings in Lluçà I (2016), Teachings in Lluçà II (2017), The Inconceivable Freedom. Zen Teachings in Lluçà 3 (2020), Moon’s Reflection in Water. Zen Teachings in Lluçà 4 (2023), Indra and the Fox. Zen Teachings in Lluçà 5, which sparked the interest of Sebastià d’Arbó.
